All of the stuff on whyquit. All of the stuff on woofmang.
People on here can give support BUT you also have to help yourself.
Yes the cravings seem bad but do you understand why they are like that?
Start reading more and you will educate yourself on your quit. No-one can do that for you. But once you start to understand more, the cravings will be a lot easier to deal with.

Hey, Thanks for the advice John, I have looked at the websites and they have helped me tremendously, but it was just a big craving which was new to me so i didn;t really know what to do. I'm ok now though, I've noted it down in my non-smoking diary so I can turn to it another time.

Well done for beating those craves back but I agree with John you really do need to read lots It is not enough to read something once and assume you will remember it I read things over and over and still go back and read

As John has said read and use the info when cravings hit.
Pray if it helps, but don't smoke, and the craving will pass.

John, Marg & Nic are sooooo right. I know when I have my tough moments I go straight to the web links that Marg had given me and have a real good read and in no time the bad feelings are gone and the good feelings begin and I am sooooooo glad that I didn't give in.
I also find that if you read back on your other posts (good & bad days) you will see just how far you have come and everyday be proud of yourself.

well done for getting through it, I had a craving on my day 1 that lasted for well over an hour. I sat on my bed feeling really upset and grumpy and that I should just have one and stop the next day. but I read some sites and put the radio on really loud.
remember why you want to stop and how fantastic you will feel when you get through it.
keep going, its soooo worth it. x
I keep Allen Carrs little book of quitting quotes in my bag. Its a small quick fix of mental realignment!! Keep going and well done but take heed of the others advice and read read read!
