Congrats on day 6.
Its a common problem and does pass (excuse the pun)
There are loads of over the counter remedies, that may be worth a try.
Cheers

I had the same problem for a few weeks, well not exactly the same... things were just very slow and I felt very bloated.
It happens because the bodies chemistry is going through some very rapid changes because you have suddenly stopped poisoning it.
I know it's not pleasant - but it will go away, and you could always try some over the counter remedies (such as those based on Senna) which may help releive your symptoms.
A trip to the doctor for something more powerful is always a good last option too.
As with anything, if you are concerned - go see a Doctor
The important thing is not to use any of these healing signs as an excuse to smoke... they will all go away, the cost to your life if you carry on smoking will not!
Hi Canessa - thank you for your message on my thread. I dieted a bit towards the end of last year in prep for stopping smoking in case I piled on 5 stone in a week or something!!I got constipated though because I wasn't having enough fibre. I tried over the counter senna tablets but these didn't work so I tried old fashioned syrup of figs from the high street chemist shelf and that got me moving! Feel really bloated today so I know what you mean x
anyone getting twitchy legs?
thanks guys, im eating my way though the cravings and including plenty of museli. this sites really good. feel like its been so much easier to give up this time.
legs are twitchy and im finding it difficult to sleep at night. im not so tired anymore at work which was my main motivation for giving up. lets see if i can make it to the end of the week with out feel exhausted.
