26 days!!

Hi there! I stopped smoking 26 days ago on 18th August. I stopped by chance - if thats possible? I had a tooth out, was told I couldnt smoke, spent days in bed and then just didnt bother lighting up again! Last Thursday was a test for me, went out drinking really wanted one but didnt give in! My hubbie smokes but not in the house so i couldve asked him for one but i didnt! He has also just bought me a bicycle for being good and not smoking which is fab!! It is hard at times I must admit. Started smoking when i was 14 - am now 31 and I must admit I feel so much better. Went to a concert last night and really wanted one again - again because im out drinking- thats what triggers it! Glad I didnt though, hangovers are much nicer without smoking!- well thats a bit about me - hope this forum helps with the bad days!!:)

unfortunately Paul i have only just read your post and I crumbled last night and had 1 puff, im gutted. it tasted foul and the thought of doing it again makes me feel sick so maybe thats a good thing?, i will definately take your advice in the next coming weeks when i have lots of social gatherings- fingers crossed
