I will be starting a new Quit tomorrow,

i didnt manage long on my last quit,

i do know my triggers are now, so i will be avoiding them all.

I also will be drinking lots of water.

Its not easy is it.

You have to really want to quit, and I mean really, really want to quit.

Try reading as much as you can, I know you have heard it all before but try to take it hour by hour if you have to, then it will be day by day, and before you know it, it will be months. Then its easy.

Angel-Lady, can you tell us what the triggers seem to be? Just to help the newbies avoid blipping.

It's unusual for me to get involved in this type of thread because I go to the whyquit school of not being nice to blippers because sometimes people do it for attention and it can be used as a weapon. That's why I stopped for ME, not anyone else or for any reason but ME. If I stopped because my Mum or boyfriend wanted me to, the first thing i would do after a row is spark up a big richmond. Or if I quit because I had very little cash, the first big paycheck and .... yip you guessed it.... down the newsagents for 20 of the best.

Maybe you should try and figure out WHY you need to smoke too. Just an idea.

I didnt blipp. i smoked and quite a lot at that. that is why i am back to day one tomorrow. my triggers were

1 a blooming big row with hubby.

2 a bad nights sleep.

3 wrong time of the month for me, cramps and a lot of pain.

4 run out of HRT and trying to go CT.

that was about it.

Tomorrow is a new day and i know smoking tastes so vile.

I am going to take that forward to my new quit.

People really don't care if you are here or not AL, you're not that important, what we don't like is the snide and spiteful crap that has usually come with the people from your other forum. If you are here for genuine reasons and not just to stir up shite again with your buddies watching and waiting for an opening after one of your posts then I am sure there will always be someone on here who will answer and support you. Excuse us if we seem a bit cynical and untrusting after all that has just gone on and your sudden reappearance following your original 'defection' and slagging of this forum for being unsupportive (although you did get 7/8 supportive replies for the post you were slating us for)

What goes around comes around AL and I for one remember the things you were saying about this place and the people on it and so am not convinced this time you are back for the good of this forum.

forever angel forever its hard as i say you have to want to not smoke you need to look at every quit option there is and talk about it read about it and discuss it sooner or later you will find the method that is most suited to you
