Advice with general anaesthetic

Hi, tomorrow Im having a g/a and dont usually have any after effects but at the moment I am on Champix and feel very sick all the time. My worry is the Champix may make pretty ill after the g/a so I wondered if you guys thought if it would be best if I didnt take it tomorrow.

Doctor would normally ask if you are taking any medication before a g/a - If the op was booked before you started taking the Champix, then I'd 'phone and speak to the doctor now.

My Dr said being on Champix will be fine but Im thinking more about I really dont want to be ill after. If I feel sick all the time as it is I just wondered if a g/a will effect me even more than normal plus would it hurt to stop them for a day or at least not take the morning one.
