Wow! Over two weeks - you are doing brilliantly and the first month will be over before you know it!
Don't know where your team-mates have got to, but hopefully they'll catch up with you soon
I have been quit for 2 Months, 3 Weeks, 5 Days, 21 hours, 4 minutes and 50 seconds (87 days). I have saved £439.38 by not smoking 1,757 cigarettes. I have saved 6 Days, 2 hours and 25 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 17/02/2008 22:00
All is good here - I haven't had time to think about smoking! I have been running around like crazy getting ready for my mom's visit tomorrow. It's her first time visiting calgary (where I live right now) and she is coming from sunny california. That's why I am not around much - and won't be for the next week or so - but still cheering for our team from afar, though!
My mom is a non-smoker - so she is pretty happy that I quit. It will be easy to maintain it around her - even if I choose to have a glass of wine.
In one more day I will mark 7 months quit, and I have to admit, I don't think about smoking much at all any more.
I do remember back last October when I was like you and every day was a test and a chore and horrible (I didn't get much work done for two months) but now it is as if I never did smoke and don't quite understand why anyone would do it or what the attraction is.
Just imagine, keep it up, and soon you, too, will wonder what the big deal was and why it was such a chore to quit....you will be able to look back and say, yes, it was HARD to quit, but then, too, you will wonder WHY? because it will seem such a "non-issue" anymore.
So, good luck, keep it up, remember what someone else here said: take it one day at a time, and keep visiting here for support. It made all the difference in the world for me, and it got me through the hell of quitting!
