My daughter was over in my sisters, only for about 45 mins to an hour. Sis is a smoker - I could really smell it off her clothes and hair.
Guilt, guilt, guilt

Cor, you can smell that already - that's a good thing - means your smell is coming back (you lucky thing, I'm dead envious!)...!
Don't feel guilty - you would not have smelt that before.. therefore, look at the positive side of it... you can NOW! It'll be another thing to keep you moving forward and never going back.. please be proud of yourself and don't give yourself a hard time. Your daughter will never smell like that in your company again! What a wonderful thought!
Funny you should bring this up but my Aunty was telling me today how much I stank of smoke - it's a little embarrassing isn't it! I had no idea what I or any other smoker really smelt like for 20 years.. and still don't yet! I'm hoping I'll smell someone this weekend.. !! Never thought I'd be saying that! he he!!
Keep that thought next time you feel like smoking. My husband still smokes and last night he was smoking in the conservatory and the dog was in there, when she came and jumped on my lap she smelt of smoke too. Yuk
Oh it's bad! Had a man call round during the week doing a door to door survey.
Lovely wee man, immacuately dressed, well spoken but he was stinking of smoke!
Really spoilt the illusion.
In my line of work I have to attend Court on a regular basis, mortified when I think of how I must have smelled

i am a teacher and sometimes the children smell of smoke!!! or their bags do, it makes u wonder what we all smelt like ...... yuk!!!!!!!!!!

Your sense of smell and taste will go haywire before it settles down. Things will smell stronger and taster awful. But it will all go back to normal.
I can't even stand to walk past someone smoking now, it makes me sick.
And also you'll use less perfume and aftershave, you'll found you wear to much.
A friend said to me a couple of years ago - Yu spend ages getting ready for a night out, then you go and have a fag and spoil it all - NOW i know exactly what she means My biggest incentive not to smoke ever again
