Apart from feeling tired, what I find is I'm C-O-L-D..Does anyone else get this?

I remember, from times before, that this has been really bad...like getting under a blanket curled up bad. Curious, when I'm in the Sahara!

It's actually cloudy today!

Bill

Thanks for your responses...so some get colder and some hotter, huh?

You would think that the circulation would improve and you'd get hotter...but not me!

But it seems more like - cold, shut down, turned off, depressed...a collection of stuff that's more body/mind than physiology.

I also wonder about the mind changes that go on when you stop smoking.

The original need to get the habit (which is not all that easy - you remember feeling sick etc the first few times?) must have been motivated to compensate for something? fear of being left out? So is that stuff going to resurface in some way when you quit? And does it need dealing with, or will it just come and go?

And does it matter?...

Oh..and I'm a nurse at an oil production site in the middle of nowhere. Lovely!

Very comfortable and easy. Noone breathing down my neck, and stints of three weeks then three weeks off.

I tend to get hotter, especially on a night. With regard to mind changes I kept seeing extremely large ciggies every now and then but that has now passed (I think!). Also had a few panic attacks at not smoking again - that has also passed.

Hi Dd,

I'm in the desert, but it's cloudy!!!

Would you believe it?oh but i think it great to be realy in a desert. nearest ive been is tenerife las Americas beach is sand from the sahra desert. their own sand is black because its a volcanic island. It was lovely and white to the other beaches. I live by the sea and ours is yellow. and a lot colder than yours today. xxx :)
