Hi all. Yep i am ok today.

I dont know why but when i say i am trying again my husband says he will too but he just isnt ready and isnt doing it for him self. So of course he is a living nightmare.

Last night got quite stressfull because he was stressed. In the end he went and bought 10 and he was ok after that. I have told him he has to smoke in the garage and to make sure he dont leave any cigarettes lying around the house.

But anyway day 3 and all good. Off to the gym after i have walked the dogs.

Glad to see everyone's here, and 'Hello' to Peter.

This is the first day that i've struggled and my mind is playing games with me, keep having little panic attacks about never smoking again!

Still, I know that's quite normal and it wont always be this way.

It's at times like this that I realise how helpful it is to be able to read the posts from people at various stages of the quit journey... so thank you all.

Hello everyone!

I quit on Sunday 3rd Feb 08 at 10.30pm, going cold turkey and am feeling very alone and a tad stressed :eek: in my office so thought I'd try and seek like minded people to try and clam down with.. and I came across this forum!

Has anyone else suffered a really sore throat and shallow breathing? I can cope with a sore throat but the catching my breath thing is freaking me out - I'm feeling like I could breath better when I smoked! Not that that's gonna be an excuse to have one, it's not! I just wondered if anyone else has gone through this?

Lady sa, i had to keep gasping for air on my 1st quit at the beginning of the year but im ok this time round. It will pass, if your worried go and see your doctor to put your mind at ease

Whats up Flippy, come and tell me all about it. Ive had a few nasty cravings today but other than that and men and kids im ok

Thanks for the nice welcome guys....and there we are, 19:49 day three, and made it.....a few cravings but got through with throwing myself into some work !!!!
