Day 6 as a non smoker, cold turkey all the way!

Actually its not as bad as previuos attempts at stopping. But this time I will not lapse and Im very proud of myself and my girls are too.

Glad I found you guys for those hard days that lie ahead, I can read through your posts.

Thanks guys! Its a week today and boy has it been hard to resist today, I dont know why but in the past few days I have not really thought about smoking and been a lorry driver - I had a fellow work mate who was helping me out a few days back and he smoked fag after fag in my lorry and that didnt bother me (I dont think he realised Id stopped) But today has been a challenge, Every minute im reaching for the packet of fags that are no longer there, also without thinking - Opening the window as though im about to have one. All part of the habbit I suppose. But the good news is that I came through the day without giving into the demons

Tommorows another day but Ill stay strong I promise!
