I can get them free from the docs but I have been to him so many times that I'm sort of feeling a bit embarrassed now!!!! I actually don't even have to pay for the script but i worry he will get annoyed with me keep asking for them + not managing to quit. So I Just buy my own. I would have been spending £35 pound anyway.

thanx debs; right back at ya! i am feeling so much more confident than I ever have when I quit before!!!!

I will have a look then in Boots - maybe it's just cos I haven't needed any yet. x x x x x :D

i think its a mixture why im not sleeping, the champix and when i used to wake up before i'd have a cig and i drink far too much tea during the day!! i know i have to cut down tea but its the only pleasure i get. i'm on champix for smoking, xenical for loosing weight!! up to now i've lost 2st 7lb since july but thursday will be my fist weighing since i've given up smoking!!

I try and avoid Boots or i end up buying Farley's Rusks stopping smoking is no problem but weaning myself off the rusks is far harder,:o

i end up buying Olay daily Facials. If i were sent to a desert island I would need them with me over anything else. I seriously am addicted to them + I think i may actually have a problem!!! lol I hope they never stop making them because i would never leave the house. I would just crawl under my duvet + stay there until the doctors came....

boots

I tend to always buy hair dye as its always on offer when i go in & i might not get it as good a value!! and i tell my hubby to think of all the points i get on my card. even tho i use them to sneakily get ellnet hairspray!!!!

nsd_user663_2762 profile image
nsd_user663_2762

I say that to my fiance but he just says that if i bought stuff from somewhere cheaper them the money would work out the same for the points you get. He just doesn't get it - he can't help it, he's male. (sorry men r great!!!!) x x x :p

tell me about it!!! my hubby doesn't understand when i come home with all the bogof items. he said i'd have saved money by not buying them. Where's the fun in that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nsd_user663_2762 profile image
nsd_user663_2762

there is no fun in that!!! Bogof is great + u r always stocked up too!!!!!! i love watching my points build up!!! it's much better than saving money 1st!!!!

My friend has £86 pound on her advantage card!!! Can you believe that? i spend mine everytime it gets to a fiver!!!!!

LOL Phil that is true!!! Primark is so good for buying stuff you actually dont wear just cos it was a pound! lol :D

£6 is a really good price. I too have tried so many times its embarrassing to keep saying this time i am determined, only to cave in after a few weeks.

This time I bought my NRT stuff and said to myself if I got through the first 2 weeks I would go and get mine for free .... saying that I am determined and have actually bought some of my own stuff this time as I dont like to waste money .... seems to have worked

yeah i think i prob could ask my doc now, i have got to nearly 3 weeks which is the most i've ever done but i don't want to jinx it!!!!! lol i'll still prob be unsure at the 6 month mark!!!!! x x x x :p

you'll make it, be determind, saying that I'm on champix, the patches didn't work for me last time, apart from the fast the clear ones kept falling off, i tried putting them over my eyes but with been clear i could still see my ciggies!! the tablets work for me cos once there in there staying there!

i know what ya mean about the patches falling off. i aint dared have a drink yet! dont trust myself! Champix is great it's designed to block the craving in your brain & it really does work. i know i would'nt have stopped without them

usually i put them on my back + they stay put but i was in a strappy top on sat so i had to put it on my stomach so it wouldn't show + it didn't stick there.

I prob won't be having a drink for a while now so hopefully next time i go out it will be a whole lot easier than it was this weekend!!! x x :)
