Was just wondering if they're all still here? I know there's a big group still but is there anyone that's slipped through the net?
New Year Quitters: Was just wondering if they... - No Smoking Day
New Year Quitters
Can I be a New Year Kwitter
I planned to quit for the New Year, honest I did. Having tried before and knowing how difficult that first week can be I decided to take a run up at which back fired on me and I actually quit six weeks ahead of schedule
Will have to give myself a serious talking to
Boudee there's loads of people in that penthouse now!
Have a penthouse party
mornin all
are we doing a roll call thingy of all the New Year Kwitters or NYKers (pronounced knickers) and their associated hangers on (Boudee and John etc)
if so i am in:
I have been quit for 3 Weeks, 3 Days, 6 hours, 13 minutes and 6 seconds (24 days). I have saved £119.59 by not smoking 412 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Day, 10 hours and 20 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 01/01/2008 05:24
Yes i am in a stupidly good mood again this morning and yes i am going to see Morrissey AGAIN tonight. My wife thinks i am weirder than Weirdy McWeird of Weirdshire.
by the way still coughing lots of green stuff
it used to be brown
now its green
is that good??:confused::eek:
I have never in all my life been called a hanger on before
I have been called a cling on, is that the same?
it depends if you watch star trek - is this you:
uummmm no not sounding so good, if it continues you may need to have a trip to the docs
seriously?
what could it be?
bit of an infection may have set in if your lungs are having problems clearing out all of the crap, if you feel well in your self then don't worry, just keep an eye on things
hmmm i feel fine really - maybe i ought to go get it checked out
If you think about hos much crap has built up in there I suppose it's only natural that it's going to be a bit messy once things start shifting, and that it's going to take a while.
There's certainly no harm in seeing your doctor just to get things checked and at least that way you'd know it was nothing to worry about.
But then if you're feeling ok you might not want to - oh how helpful am I today?!
She called you a pot head! I wouldn't stand for that mate
I'm telling!!
Paul
Boudees got a point,
when my sister had pnuemonia she had no idea!! no pain or fever or nothing!!
The green/grey stuff can be infection, might need some antibiotics on it
well you tell and i will tell and I look sweeter so i will get away with it
Er no, you look like a clingon! :D:eek:
Is that better then??
well I asked paul what they meant but he never said so i don't know
no its not better - if you look like a Klingon female (note the correct spelling) its not a good look unless you happen to be a Klingon male. In which case its a very good look!

thanks Buffy - i am now scared witless
the ambulance should be here in a minute to pick me up, i wont be here for a while
will check back in when they discharge me in a couple of months
Paul,
I wouldn't worry about being kept in hospital. When my sister had pneumonia they discharged her with some cr*p antiobiotics and made her go home.
There, bet you're feeling better now!
My sister got it christmas day and they clearly weren't that interested.
what causes pneumonia then?
surely i wouldnt be able to play football for a good hour if i had pnuemonia right?
