I am still here Sara, I quit on New Years Day (early hours) and have been through the most incredible week.

I went to a park yesterday with my boy (2 year old). On the park there is a monument called 'Old John' which is at the top of a large, steep hill. I walked briskly up there, with my son on my shoulders and felt no shortness of breath, no dizziness and no feeling that the viens in my neck were going to burst. Instead I stood there looking at the view and took some deep breathes and felt HEALTHIER than I have done for a long time.

Damn, this is this hardest thing i have ever done, as some one put it yesterday, its like starting life again, creating a new personality and a brand new routine....but.....its also very exciting and the feeling of succeeding against something so hard carries a tremendous feeling.

You know what - I am going to beat this bitch called nicotine and see how the other half live.

Hey Sutty you bought a tear to my eye - i went to my dance lesson last night and although hot did not get out of breath, and i didnt smell of stale smoke either
