Pretty chuft with myself now but i am turning into a horrible person. Survived drinks on Thursday and Saturday without a cig. I caved in and bought candy cigs and must have looked a bit silly puffing on them!!
I've started to swear alot which is getting out of hand, is it the non smoking making me aggressive? I need to find a site which will aid me to stop it. It's horrible but i can't seem to help myself after a few glasses of wine. :mad:
I keep thinking i'm going to cave in but then i waken up the next morning proud that i didn't. Only had that wee blip the first weekend after quitting and have managed not to touch any since.
Hope your all managing. It's not easy but when you think about it it's not difficult, weird to put into words really.

Congrats Lynnzer you're doing great!!! You've managed to have that small blip under control which is absolutely admirable, and look where you are now You should be so very proud of yourself, it's going to be a lovely smoke-free Xmas!
P.S. I reckon us quitters are all pretty aggressive at least in the first months Better to know it and accept it rather thatn worry too much about it

Thought is was me thinking I was going mental - but the swearing is really bad for me. Not that I didn't swear before, but I seem to have slipped a few more into the day (well at lot more actually). Nearly caved in this morning trying to get an emergency dental appointment for 19 year old daughter (incompetent b**tards). Is she breathing, is she blue in the face, errr no she has toothache. Anyhow managed to sort out appointment that wasn't a million miles away. On top of that, couldn't sleep last night so ended up taking a sleeping tablet at 3.00 am this morning (note to self - don't do that again), couldn't wake up for love nor money this morning and stumbled out of the bedroom and stubbed toe on side table, am now limping...and swearing like a trooper.
I am 5 months down the line but have found that the most trivial of things wind me up. I became a bit of a 'tidying nut' when I gave up smoking. This was to keep my mind off smoking. I've become very house proud.
I think I've become a bit obsessive now!:eek:
I get wound up if something is out of place.
A towel is hanging off the door instead of on the towel rack, a coat is hanging on the back of a chair instead of being on a hanger.:rolleyes:
I don't speak up half the time though! I just mumble under my breath and the wife says 'Whats the matter now!'
