Hi everyone, Day 22 here and the start of week 4!!
Nothing much to say really but I just *had* to post in the Month 1 forum on the first day I received the keys :).
Things are going very well so far and the thought of smoking's getting weaker by the day. I'm on my guard for a major craving though as they can spring up from nowhere!! I can handle it if it happens.
Good luck to everyone on your quits. To anyone just starting, it *does* get easier!! Hang in there, distract yourself any way you can, and most importantly DON'T SMOKE!! We can all do this!!

Well done mate, i am so happy for you. You are also becomming a real inspiration for the newbies, and are giving some great support on here, so good on ya!!
I'm having a goodish day. My whole diet and exercise thing is getting me down a bit (well lack of it) but I just can't seem to get myself motivated so I guess there's no use me moaning about it unless I am going to do something about it!
I ate all the custard doughnuts. If you look in the other box there will be a few beers in there for you too.

Ooohh!! I missed the other box . All mine now!!! :D. Cheers!!
Sorry you can't get motivated with your diet and exercise. Do you exercise at home or at the gym? I guess it's like quitting the cigs - you just have to knuckle down and do it. Have you got someone you could exercise with? That might help motivate you.
I aint really been a gym person as I got this though that people who go to the gym are fit and I'd look pathetic, nearly keeling over after a few minutes on a treadmill
However I friend of mine has recommended a gym she said they are really nice and not up there own arse. Obvioulsy my main concern is how fit the gym instructors are. After all a really cute gym instructor will keep me motivated to go, I might even have to pay for a bit of personal training then

Naughty Tinks!! :p.
I had a fit of bravado a few years ago and joined a gym. The first couple of sessions were fine because I had a trainer telling me what to do and for how long. Apparently that's only for the first couple of sessions then you're on your own. Left to my own devices I'm an idle bugger so it all fizzled out :o.
It might be worth you following up your friend's recommendation and at least checking it out. You never know, there just might be a cute gym instructor :D.

Well done Mr Ed ( sorry i just feel like putting the "Mr" in front now)
Or i think i may start calling you...Mrpositivelypositiveandsupportive
Just reading your posts builds me up within myself and is helping me to get stronger and i am loving seeing you get stronger each day.
(((Snowie))) Thank you for your kind words :). I'm not crying here. Honestly!!
I've drawn so much help and support from here over the past three weeks that it's only right and proper that I give something back too. If my posts are helping others as well as being positive reinforcement for me, then that makes me very happy indeed :).
You may call me Mr. Ed :), but be warned that once I get to the Penthouse I will insist on being called Sir Ed :D.
