Fight it Flippy! Don't Give up!
You know you don't want to start again deep down.
Make a plan to do something different today, something that you "never" did as a smoker so that you have zero smoking associations with so that you can get a moment of peace to strengthen your resolve to quit smoking.
I don't know what you normally do or don't do so let me make some examples of what I may do.
Go to a museum. I "enjoy" going to museums, however it is not something I have done more then 3 times in the last 15 years. I always think I should, but never do.
Go to the park and play frisbee or something. If you have a sweetheart take them along and smooch under a tree or something
Once you have "calmed down" you need to remember the reasons you quit smoking. I am sure they are the same as a lot of us. You probably got sick of stinking like smoke all the time, having horrendous breath you had to cover up with gum, mints, or by avoiding getting close to people over. You probably are forgetting how bad it sucks to wake up day after day drained of energy wondering how you will get the energy to improve your life. Smoking causes that. You just need to make it through to at least the end of week 3 and week 4 and I promise you it gets better. In month 2 its like living a constant week 4 but you can manage it no problem. After month 2 really the only thing you have to look out for is a "bad day" or "frustration" that makes you do the dumb thing of having just "one cigarette".
Don't give up Flippy.. You and I are in about the same timeframe of our quit.. let's beat this thing together!
Morning!!
DON'T GIVE IN!!!
I'm past 2 months now and all the crap days were worth it to get here.
There is no way i would go back to stinking, feeling lethargic all the time, having no money, coughing and spluttering......oh i could go on and on and on.
Its a stinky horrible addiction and you've done so well to get this far!
Oh Flippy sweetie! Don't give up now. Drink a pint of ice cold water through a straw ( to faciliate the 'drawing on a cig' thing). Then take 10 Slow deep breaths and hold the last breath in b4 exhaling slowly. Take a look at this - it may help! pharmacydiscountrx.com Its got quite afew helpful hints.
DON'T GIVE UP !!!!!!!!!!!!

Aww thanks for your replies. I have walked the dog and now I have to get ready for work so im afraid i cannot do anything different today.
I am determined to do it but i hate feeling like this.
I keep thinking 1 puff wont hurt but i now it will because thats how i failed before.
I CAN DO THIS, I CAN DO THIS, I CAN DO THIS.
Oh hold on in there flippy x x x
Please really think about this, I don't imagine you feel half as bad as you did when there where no shops or money to get fags when you smoked. I would of pulled a butt out of a bin if I had too!!! but now you wouldn't consider that would you!!
It feels bad because it has snuck up on you and slapped you in the face again, you got through 10 days and if you do this 1 day today tomorrow will ease up x x
Time for a treat I reckons buy yourself a new book, magazine, CD or bubble bath and wine whatever!! to treat yourself to later, don't forget to keep yourself happy in luxuries and rewards.
