6weeks done starting my 7th.
Hi Destiny
Well done you on 6 weeks go girl!
I didn't have that coughing up thing either, but SPOTS! I'm covered, never had them in my teen years, but it seems im making up for it now, my back is covered, my chest, behind my ears, my face, i did ask my quit nurse and well she said she had heard it mentioned but not that bad, she said maybe its my skin cleansing itself, don't know about that, but i do try to drink plenty of water to detox my body.

well done from me as well ..............
few spots here as well mainly on my back not had the dreaded cough yet but with my luck i am sure to wake up in the morning feet pain free but spluttering
Well done destiny for doing 6weeks.
As for spots, it probably is your body detoxing. I'm having a similiar problem, I've mentioned it before with ezcama. My friend who's giving up with me, as noticed a lot of spots. she's using that much cover up make up, she reckons she's not saving anything.
I haven't bothered covering mine, i just try to act like SPOTS WHAT SPOTS! lol they do get on your nerves, but the sweating thing i think your right, i never really sweat'ed before, but now especially my face and neck, they also say it could be hormones, apparently when women give up it does effect our hormones, i suppose it would, as when you quit it cleanses your blood.

I haven't got them this time yet but on previous quits I have had a bad case of spotty back and shoulders every time and sorry to be the bringer of rubbish tidings, but last time I quit for 9 months I still had them really bad at 9months.
The range of possible changes which can occur when you quit smoking are quite mind boggling. If like me you've quit a lot of times before you start recognising them as quit smoking related from previous instances - for example :-
When I quit smoking my hair gets really tangled when I wash it but not when I smoke - fathom that one!!!
When I smoke I hardly sweat at all even in hot weather and almost never smell sweaty but after quitting I get very sweaty and whiffy arm pits, mainly the right one.
When I quit I get smokers rhinitis which is like having hayfever but you get it all year round.
As a non smoker almost straight away I develop a really bloated fat belly even though my weight gain isn't that significant yet.
I'm sure you guys can add a few to this list....
Hell yeah, so far I have also had spots which till now when you guys said I didnt think they were smoke related.
I get bad headaches, I sweat like a bitch on heat, cough up the gunk, putting weight on, and I have dry patches on my face.
There are more but its late and I dont want to bore you all, hehehe, sorry I probably already have, give us a slap!xrtwo.speedcentral.co.uk/im...

I have extremely dry skin now, especially my feet, which I never use to have. I just colored my hair and have used the same color for years and it's a different color this time. I have the gas problem and my new husband gives me some strange looks. The animals run...and that is NOT FUNNY Boudee! Since I am not as congested as I use to be my allergies are worse and I have more eye allergies than I use to. Glad to see I am not alone and we are all experiencing something.
Congrats destiny on reaching over 6 weeks i am on day46 i have had some gunky stuff but not a lot i think it depends on each individual, keep up the good work.
