Lol Not much software to support vista yet, updates available online mostly, which means you have no broadband and have to dialup for a 5 hour download  GREAT!! hehe
How did you rate Vista anyway? much a muchness with bows on?
I would definitely say that with 5 kids in tow as much as they test me there's nothing like a computer issue to really drive me up the wall! my laptop and I love each other very much don't get me wrong but sometimes we fall out big time hehe
Walking off stress is lovely. glad you have your fluffy friend to help you out, support comes from all directions!
Hmmm, Computers... Nothing compared with dealing with Sony and their terrificly poor Playstation Consoles ... Now that would drive the best of us back to smoking.
Well I have to congratulate you Whiteboy for even taking on a computer related task during the early stages of giving up... You're a braver man than I... Personally it's probably best to avoid those situations where possible...
Now I have only ever had two bad experiences with PC's, the first was with a Gateway PC (many years ago) and needless to say I ended up stabbing it to death with a screw driver. The second incident I kicked the base unit out of my office and proceeded to jump on it a number of times until I felt satisfied that it had learnt its lesson.
My colleague actually threw his printer out of a third storey double glazed window in temper. The window was closed at the time, but luckily the printer was securely attached to the PC, and as the printer approached the window the cable slack was taken up and the printer hung in mid air and dropped to the floor.
Anyhow, you done well on surviving an PC encounter, but next time kick it a few times.... Don't forget the Human race invented machines, we rule them...
Actually that does bring up another good point, does anyone know of a good PC Maintenance Forum, I think my expertise in fixing PC's would be welcomed by loads of people... What do you guys think?
