Good work Nezzey

Thanks linda....
Finding today my best day so far (fingers crossed)
Hi Nezzey,
Well you've achieved loads getting to Day 4.
I reckon Day 2 was my worst day (Don't think the shock of giving up hit me on Day 1 at all).
Day 3 and 4 got progressively better, Day 5 (Yesterday) wasn't too bad either apart from an unexpected urge which I wasn't ready for.
And now on Day 6 I have finally worked out what I need to be careful of. I have started getting complacent about not smoking and luckilly for me it seems to be getting easier as days go by. However I keep getting sudden urges to smoke at unexpected times, they don't last long mind you (A matter of a few seconds) but they are strong enough where I have to think about it.
The old "I can have just one and carry on giving up tomorrow" syndrome...
However luckilly for me I managed to give up for a month a couple of years ago and I know that just having a drag or a whole cigeratte would lead to a total and complete failure.
Been there and don't want that to happen again.
Keep up the good work and remember that there are probably 100's of smokers out there that would love to be able to acheive half of what you've done already.

Hi Nezzey - I am a very determined, happy, controlled person but this stupid smoking thing kept doing for me every time....just keep waiting a bit longer and longer etc..it will eventually pay off - don't know what method you're using to quit but your will is the best thing you have - all I can say is ignore the voice that says 'sod it - buy some' each time leave it a bit .....and a bit - it really does get much better if you hang on in - I've reached week nine and believe me that is completely unbelievabe to myself and everyone I know!!!
I have had help from patches and gum but the best help has been the support and friendship I've received on here
Keep us posted .. and keep heart...
LoopyXX I am getting sooo sentimental
