hi gang

Well it has been 7 hours since i had my last cig and im feeling ok. I still feel horrible for letting myself down and giving in a few days ago but that was a learning experience on how to cope with stress trying NOT to light up.

Anyways thought i would give an update, hopefully this is the time i quit for good :o

Hi Harpe - Good to see you - just keep you're pecker up!! we're all the same and that's what makes the site work - it wasn't a let down - just a learning curve like you say...keep it up you're doing great.

Welcome back Harpe x x

That is the attitude! if at first you don't succeed and all that :D

I don't think you should feel you let yourself down, try and feel more positive, it was a lesson that you needed to learn in order for you to progress, so you are now a lot further down the road to non smokingdom than before x x

Keep yourself busy and active and keep rewarding yourself x x x x

hi ya harpe. you know what you are doing brilliantly. do you know why? then i shall tell you. i have tried to quit 3 times b4 now + each time i tried, if i had one cig (which i obviously did!) i would be back smoking 20 a day and i would not try to quit again for like 6 months! just couldn't get the confidence or the motivation!

so hunnie give yourself a great big pat on the back for getting back on it!!! x x x:)

Talking to myself...hehe

I find that I have been talking to myself...hehe Telling myself, Oh its just a withdrawl... it will pass etc.... Then the president walks by.:) I hear a restless sleep is ahead? Smoked for 30 years so can imagine that. Any suggestions?

Well done Kim x x x x

Kim,

Long soak in hot bath, fresh sheets, warm milk anything you find that soothes you will help x x

It is all just withdrawal x x x x won't last forever and will make a massive difference x x

Nothing lasts forever and it is different for everyone!! if you are a good sleeper normaly, may well be you'll have no troubles!!

Talking to yourself ooh now thats worrying lol!! :p not really x x I spent my entire life doing that, when i quit, there was no shutting me up !
