Truly Sorry for Making my forum friends Worry

I can definetly say I feel the love in here. I go out for a week of gallavanting and finding myself away from the forum, and people are asking left right and center about what I am up to. Here is the synopsis. I have been working out at least an hour and a half a day. I have been avoiding my triggers like a man on a mission. I even did some gardening without thinking about smoking yesterday. As stated in an earlier post, I had someone offer me a ciggy the other day, and I proudly declined, saying that I am a non smoker. websmileys.com/sm/violent/s... My anger problems are all but gone, the cravings have turned into random thoughts, don't get me wrong... if I let my guard down, they will trick me into thinking one is ok still. but... I am strong, and know that it isn't. I am sad today, thinking about some of the people that were posting when I first started coming here, that I haven't seen come on in the longest of times. Unfortunately, it is easy to figure out what has happened to them. Best of luck to all of them for getting back on the quit. I look to you all as my brothers and sisters in arms. We are fighting the biggest battle we will ever fight, and I am so proud of you all for sticking with it, no matter what it takes. I know from experience it is nowhere as easy as non smokers will tell you. To Buffy and Boudee... Thank you for making the new posters feel happy, giving them smiles, and welcoming them in with open arms. I know this forum probably doesn't let emails or messengers get printed, but if I can figure out a way, i'd send mine out so when people worry about me, they can send me an email. It is sometimes much easier for me to get back on email, when I am having this much fun working out, going for walks, and enjoying the new found freedom I have. I constantly watch smokers now... not cause i'm jealous, but because I pity them. I watch them cough, sneeze, hack, stink, stand away from people, try and get away from doors, etc. I will never be like that again. I know i am basically a recovering drug addict. I know it will never fully go away... But... I know i'm fine with that. I'm fine with having the odd day where my head tells me something I don't want to hear. Better to be a non smoker wondering about smoking than killing myself with ciggies. I believe it was Oscar Wilde who said... "A ciggarette is the most exquisite pleasure. It is the only thing to leave you satisfied and wanting more at the same time". A fire at one end and a sucker at the other. I hope those evil tubes eventually get banned. For, when I have a child, I hope it never thinks about how cool it will be to be an addict. I will do my best to post in here a bit more. I know how it feels when I don't see people for a while... Don't get me wrong... I am viewing it every day, to see how you all are doing... it is still my internet home page. I just don't have the time sometimes, depending on what shift I am on. I wonder when the NOPE thread I opened is going to get full? is 20 the max? i'll check that now, and, if it is, new thread will be opened. Again, I love all of you. You are my rocks. You keep me strong. Do not give up giving up.
