Where is Forum for start of Week 4

Hi folks. Its the start of my 4th week in 2 1/4 hours but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to post during week 4. Not now in week 3 but not yet in month 2 - perhaps I am not really here, just a figment of my own imagination. This no smoking lark really mangles your brain you know!:confused:

Thanks for all the encouragement. I am going back for a bit of top-up hypnotherapy tomorrow, hopefully I will feel a bit better after that. Anyone else finding that SSRI anti-depressants seem to stop working when you give up the fags? I am getting the withdrawal symptoms of that as well as the nicotine ones. Doc says is possible cos the receptors in the brain could be similar for both drug types.

Interested to know if anyone else had same.

I know someone who works somewhere were a lady practices it.

Apparently everyone is mad for it and she has a waiting list!! :eek:

she is going to set up her own business.

I would give it a try, nothing to lose 'cos nothing touches you!!

I had reiki done about 1 and a half years ago and it was the most amaaaazing experience it really was. The guy who did mine was a grand master or something like that but it was really one of those twilight zone moments. He got me into a deep type of sleep and then I began to have these visions and one was of me as a little girl sat in the corner of a room hugging my knees and crying. (I wont go into why but this was a regular reality as a child). I was not talking during the reiki - i was aware I was crying but it seemed a long way off somehow. The reiki guy suddenly said 'Get off your knees, dry your eyes and come out of the corner, it is time for you to open the door to the rest of your life.' There were several things like that he knew what I knew. It sounds maybe even scary but it wasn't at all it was actually a huge relief to have someone there to guide me through these experiences and help me heal. I felt a wreck afterwards and slept so well that night - and what happened has stayed with me since and it helped me enormously.

I would really recommend having a reki session - i know an excellent guy. But you could know doubt find a good local practitioner on the reiki registered website.

I thought reiki was when you are laid on the bed and they use their powers to absorb aches pains and emotions from you through themselves, apparently this lady burst into tears when she did it for someone at work!

They pass their hands over your body there is no touch.

You shouldn't be so disturbed sounds like you had that past hypnotherapy thing, man, whats it called >_<

No it was definatley reiki - He didn't touch me just put his hands around my head and neck where the chuckras are - he didn't have to do all of the body being a grand master thing - he's at Centre Parcs so he's Kosher! But he said that can happen when the chuckras get unblocked.

I would never have that regressional thing that is so weird. When I was at school these girls came and told me they did a scence thing and that I was apparently a man (I don't think so!) in the 18th century that drowned in a lake. Lovely. I don't know quite what they expected me to say really apart from 'didn't you chuck me a rope then?' I don't like anything spooky like that. Ooo gone all shivery now.

I'd very much like to resolve a few unresolved things from a couple of years ago, counselling helped but I thought only first degree murder would really put the past to bed.

I'm going to give that a go, does anyone know anyone good inthe cheshire area?
