I am extraordinarily grateful that my transplanted kidney is doing great, but I have begun to have problems (pain, cyst burst, infection) with one of my polycystic kidneys and am planning on laproscopic surgery to have them removed. Have any of you had this surgery? Were both native kidneys removed? How long was your recovery? Any problems with blood pressure or other issues?

Hello. I had two 7 pound kidneys removed in 2016 . I also had poly cystic kidneys. It takes a few months to heal depending how fast you normally heal. I revived a kidney transplant a year later. I was on dialysis for almost 11 years
