I got two kidneys in Dec 6th

First I'd like to thanks all of you guys sharing stories and replying my previous posts. A quick update on myself, I got called Thursday afternoon and and had kidney transplant done midnight Friday. Now 2 days post transplant, I was told my numbers are perfect and now I can walk around without much pain, they plan to discharge me tomorrow!

I'm blessed to have this very special offer, the donor was a young kid with very tiny kidneys which doesn't have clearance as adult kidneys, so they transplanted both two kidneys to me, eventually they will grow bigger as adult kidneys. They are working perfectly, after surgery they started to work right away and now my creatine reduced to 4.9 this morning.

As for medication, I'm taking a lot these days, almost ~20 pills everyday, good news is I'm feeling pretty normal for now, haven't experience any side effects yet. I'm very excited and I'll take care of this gift my rest of life!

Yes, A congrats to you and I hope your course remain uneventful. I got two kidneys on OCT 15, 2017 so I can appreciate your gratefulness.....Keep a close eye on your numbers.....

Awesome! How does everything going? I did some research and found the en bloc dual kidney transplant has slightly less survival rate in first year due to some complication but has very great long term result.
