Type 1 Distal Renal Tubular Acidosis

I know this forum is for Kidney Dialysis but I am reaching out for help. I have Type1 dRTA. It has taken 5 years to diagnosis. I keep going into metabolic acidosis which leads to metabolic acidosis. I am on sodium bicarbonate tablets and potassium and magnesium supplements. The doctors in the ER don’t know what it is and don’t know how to treat it.

Have they checked for an autoimmune disease like ANCA Vasculitis
