I was told today I have kidney waiting and my surgery date is the 12th of June barring and problems. I am so happy I am getting my life back. I want to jump out of my skin I'm so happy. I pray it works out cause dialysis was wearing me down. I hate going there.

I have been on pd dialysis for two and a half years and I have just had a transplant 10 days ago 12/5/2019 and I just can't believe it's happened after all this time I'm doing well at the moment fingers crossed I stay like this

This seems like the longest 3 weeks in my life. June 12th seems like it will never get here. There is so much s#it going threw my mind. I'm nervous as a whore in church. What if something happens between now and June 12th. What if it doesn't take and I reject it? Back to the torture of dialysis.

It's wonderful that you qualify for a transplant and even more so that you've got a kidney.

Just try to enjoy Memorial Day weekend. Maybe do some activities you really enjoy each day between now and June 12th. Reach out to friends and family for support as you wait this out.

My Prayers go out to you my friend. I am very happy for you. My husband has been on PD for 8 months now and was given requisition to have a few tests done so that he is ready when the time comes. His doctor says he is doing amazingly good. Any idea how soon it could be..since these tests are required now. I can't wait to to have my husband back. Best of luck.
