I'm new to this site. I was diagnosed with kidney disease at 26. I started dialysis at 55 & received a new kidney at 64. I would LOVE to have a kidney "buddy" again! My close friend who had been thru my similar experiences with ESRD passed about a year ago. We shared so much, especially support that no one else could really understand. I would also like to be of support to anyone starting in this journey. Thanks for listening!

Hi!
I’m new to the site and obviously a few months late to your post, but what a neat idea! I had kidney buddies on both hemodialysis and PD. I got a transplant last year and haven’t really been stable enough to consider relationships outside of my doctors, lol. I’d like to chat with you if you want. I’m sure you have a lot of wisdom about the transplant journey.🤗
