I can't answer your question, but it might be worth your time to see bonecoach.com. Build Strong Bones. Live Fearlessly. Don’t let osteoporosis hold you back. Discover proven solutions to strengthen your bones, reduce fracture risk, and reclaim the active life you love.

I don't know if this will help, but it may lead you to a solution.

thanks, but it looks like I have got proteinuria stage 1 with bubbles in toilet bowl, my gp will probably refer me to the renal team to help me out regarding treatment and food choices, I will probably have to go on prolia sooner than expected for my bones before this ckd gets worse, it's one thing after another.

How impossible, having to choose between the health of your bones and your kidneys. My very amateur comment is that maybe you can afford some proteinuria before you get laid up by a broken bone, because getting laid up for very long over the age of 60 is harmful to your kidneys (and every other organ).

what do you mean I can afford some proteinuria, I have to wait till I see the gp in the new year to see whats what, in the meantime I am not changing anything, I already have had 2 infusions of zoledronic acid, but I will probably go on prolia before ckd gets worse because they won't give me prolia in the later stages of ckd.

No prolia in late stage CKD ? They want me to take it, but I can't afford the cost they want me to pay, insurances that I have used to cover 100 percent. Anyway I'm stage 5.
