Diaylsis in usa

Hello currently planning a family holiday to disneyland florida next year we are finding it difficult to find somewhere where my mam can have diaylsis while we are away also finding it difficult to get medical insurance etc etc if any one has any advice that will be great thank you

Have you talk to your mom social worker at her dialysis center . Maybe she or he can help with travel insurance and finding a facility I’m sure there lots of centers in Orlando yeah without insursance it may be super expensive

If you are coming in from another country it will be difficult as the centers tend to be full and will prioritize a local. I'm not even sure they sell medical insurance for just one time.

I know nothing about this place. However, they do seem to specialize in visiting kidney patients so it might be worth sending them an email to ask for some advice. I believe your biggest problem would be insurance related since they might not reciprocate with UK. cfkc.org/resources/visting-...

If she is not able to be put on home hemo or pd, then she can contact Orlando Regional Hospital or Advent Health Hospital. Any hospital can provide dialysis if she is not able to get into a center. As for insurance, I know nothing about that, sorry.

Be careful with "any hospital". My local hospital ships you 100 miles off to get you to emergency dialysis, if you need it. There are two dialysis centers within 50 miles, but neither will take emergency cases.
