Good morning JackieJ_NKF. Yes I have been sharing that it Was World Kidney Day yesterday but the problem is that the condition never ever gets the recognition and coverage like Cancer does. I know Cancer can attack different parts of the body and is more widespread. But with ckd a lot of people are never told they have it until its getting close to Dialysis or Transplant. We need to make governments around the world more aware of the amount of people who have this disease. Brian

We agree! In NKF's continued efforts to address prevention measures, such as early testing, we also have our Advocacy team that is well versed on how to spread the word about kidney disease policies in the U.S. We remain a leading force in engaging our legislators to push policy that's beneficial to all of our kidney disease constituents. To learn more about our advocacy efforts, please visit: kidney.org/advocacy. And thank you again for sharing your voice!
