Hi Katie. No, fortunately for me since I do have CKD, I am at stage 3b. I hope to improve my egfr umbers (41). I'm working at it, but must admit I sometimes stumble.

Be diligent In the quest for a cure! Hopefully you can help our medical professionals be alert to pointing out problems sooner, rather than after the bad damage is done.

I just found out that I am Stage 3. Check out Dr. Sean Hashmi's YouTube Channel, he is a Nephrologist.

He was speaking to a group of Nephrologist about changes they need to make to keep people from getting on dialysis in the first place. Check him out. I am choosing to follow. My daughter is on dialysis and I don't choose it for me at all.

I am choosing to listen to his messages to other doctors. Trials have revealed help for slowing down and even helping to stay off dialysis.

my eGFR is 40 — so one dr says kidney issues. My np says GFR is 59 so no kidney issues. I had to drink 2.5 gallons of h20 to get my GFR that high. I’ll talk with nephrologist today. My husband put me on a kidney diet & I feel much better. The itching and twitching is much better.
