Hi Avenger. In my research, flaxseed oil is good for those with chronic kidney disease. I am a caregiver to my husband, who is now on dialysis, and we both use it. Yes. I've been successfully dealing with CKD for over 25 years. I've been using flax oil for several years, not every day, but frequently. I used it for lowering triglycerides, and it helps with constipation. I read about this and my doctor approved. The brand that tastes the best is Spectrum
