RBC 401 on urine test!
Hi srraja! I researched this lightly online using Wikipedia (regarding hemolysis), and if I understood it correctly, it’s the depletion of red blood cells (RBC), possibly through some type of bacteria from inside your body that can cause breakdown of the red blood cells resulting in something called sepsis, or a breakdown of red blood cells from outside your body, through intense physical activity.
I’m not a member of the medical community in any way, shape or form, so I wouldn’t even dare try to make sense of any of this, certainly not when someone else’s well-being is at stake! Lol! But I would recommend speaking to your doctor about explaining these results to you more clearly. You have a right to know what’s going on with your blood results. They should be keeping you in the loop anyway. These are things you need to know if they expect you to know what, if any, changes to your routine, you need to make.
Look into any excessive exertion or highly intense workouts you may be doing. I know that too much exercise is sometimes not a good thing for those of us with CKD. It has to do with muscle breakdown and repair that could raise creatinine levels as well. Talk to your doctor and ask her / him what you should, or could be doing regarding this issue.
All the best to you. Take care and please keep us posted! God bless. 😊👍
