Hi, I have a lot of information attached on NDI from the NIH. Hope you find it useful.
ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/n...
thank you so much , but i didnt find those 2 questions , treatment plans and is it related to autoimmune or not , do u know ?
Have you received the diagnosis from an Endocrinologist? If you can, contact your physician and get this information from him/her. They should have provided you with a treatment plan and also given you some indication of how you acquired this. I have another article from WebMD that is less technical and perhaps can answer your questions.
webmd.com/diabetes/guide/ne...
thanks ,
No , diagnosed with nephrologist because my type is nephrogenic not central andnot related to pituitary or ADH ,
My nephrologist said no treatment!!! thats why i’m trying to search
Considering what I read in the articles you might want to contact a Urologist and schedule an appointment with them for a second opinion. At the very least have you spoken to your primary care physician about this?
urologist or nephrologist u mean?
You stated you received the diagnosis from your Nephrologist. If your kidneys don't absorb enough water, the ADH flows through with no effect. The abundant dilute urine is excreted. You have your first opinion from your kidney specialist, the Nephrologist. A second opinion could come from a Urologist, a specialist in conditions of the bladder, urethra, and ureters. Have you read the treatment section from the information I sent from WebMD? Again, what has your PCP told you?
yes i read it , tried all type of treatment (and failed) except diuretics because BP low and the dr cant have this last trial now and this attack he cant start it now .
regarding the PCP he thinks everything related to unknown autoimmune disorder
