Hi,

Not too much and not too long. I travel as well, but in my RV. Moderation is the key and don't do anything too strenuous if you are doing labs upon your return. As far as the sun is concerned, use a high SBF and even then, don't stay out too long. Be careful and you should be able to enjoy trips for years to come.

Hi Mely,

My first response is don't drink the water...lolol...but do stay hydrated, especially if you are in a warmer climate ( I am so jealous) Take a look to see if any of the medications you might be on are photosensitive: empr.com/uncategorized/whic...

We go away and I am always the first in the pool or the River. Don't get over tired. I love my naps when we are on vacation. And try to stick to your diet. My first vacation once diagnosed, I was a little loose on my diet and it impacted my next labs.

Have fun and relax.

Thank you so much for replying,I will try not to drink water (ocean) lol yes I will drink lots of water and watch what I eat for sure I am just scared because I am in a lot of pain lately and I have to take narcotic for the pain,my first time going to Cuba after diagnosis so I am nervous and scared if I will be ok to go but thank you I feel little relaxed now.

The only person who can advise if you can safely travel is in a discussion with your doctor. We aren't privy to your health history, medications and more. Please refer to your own Doctor. Blessings
