Feel so low

Good morning

Today I have woken feeling poorly and not well inside my body. It’s hard to explain.

I have been following low carb for 3 weeks and although I had a loss first week 8lbs I have stayed the same the last 2 weeks.

I do feel I have lost inches but just don’t feel healthy if that makes sense?

I tend to eat on a day this was yesterday.

Bacon eggs in butter sausages for breakfast

Missed lunch as was out but had 2 coffees with coffee cream and sweetners

When came home I had a lo dough pizza with a chicken breast and ham and loads of cheese

3 more coffees with double cream

I do try and eat veggies but finding it hard.

Would people advice trying to count calories for a while just eating whole foods?

I just feel I need to find something to suit me. And any suggestion help friends would be great

I have approx 5 stone to loose and would like to loose as much as I can before August:)

I do kickboxing 2 times a week

Try to walk and fill shelves in Tesco 16.5 hours a week.

Sorry for the rant 😓😓

Morning. I'm on LCHF too. My family and friends on the diet have found that if you're not losing weight for a couple of weeks you might be having too much cream and cheese. Have you been on the diet doctor website? It's got loads of great tips and recipes for keto. Good luck xxx

Hi, Soniaweightloss , welcome.

Missing meals is great as part of planned Intermittent Fasting (IF).

If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.

Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:

Newbies IF FAQ:

Sorry you are struggling Sonia . . . I don’t know if how you’re eating is too much of anything, but personally I’d try to include more vegetables

I’m going to tag TheAwfulToad who knows lots about LCHF but also Tiggerr who I know struggled with vegetables

Take care

As I understand it, our weight can even go up as bodies and brains adjust to lchf. I'm not good at sticking to the lchf ratios (mostly because I'm not counting anything) but on the whole, the food you had yesterday seems fine.

It could be that you're suffering from Keto flu. This may be of some help... healthline.com/nutrition/ke...

As for veg, I think I replied to your joining post. I like searching authentic asian websites for a particular veg and make up curries or something similar. That way, I can ignore the veg and have the tasty flavour of the curry, then I will have that with some meat.
