If you eat enough of the right foods, you should find your appetite sorts itself out.

Exercising while eating inadequate amounts of food - especially if you've got lots of carbs on your plate and not enough fat - is a recipe for disaster. You'll just binge and binge and binge because your body isn't getting what it needs.

Try to eat proper food, starting with lots of veg (non-starchy ones), and adding meat, eggs, dairy. Dump anything that declares itself to be "healthy", like porridge, low-fat food substitutes, and so-called wholewheat bread (it's nothing of the sort - it's just coloured, flavoured white bread). Eat proper meals. You'll feel a whole lot better and the urge to eat all the time will go away.

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing bingeing, this is exactly what I needed to read, it’s kind of getting out of control now so something has to be done, granted if anyone saw me they would say i “don’t look that bad” but it’s getting so unhealthy and I know I’m doing it but just haven’t been able to stop because I’m constantly hungry x

Don't beat yourself up. Just recognise that certain types of foods will do this to you ... especially if you aggressively limit your calorie intake. It's just biology. There's no moral failure or "lack of self-control" on your part.

It might take you some time to get a handle on what the right things are - the things that don't have this effect, and leave you feeling comfortably full - but once you get there, it'll be easy.

As Lytham suggested, you might want to join the LCHF group. Most of the members there can totally identify with your experience and explain how they stopped it happening!

Hello and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum GGX89

The best advice is to get your eating right, exercise alone will not result in weight loss, so do some reading and research, and decide what is going wrong for you. If you are following the NHS 12 Week plan then the 1400/1900 calorie target suggested is a just generic amount, please check your own personal calorie target using the BMI checker, it’s often higher than you think. We always advise starting towards the top of the range, being hungry is the biggest cause of weight loss failure.

We have found that active participation is key to success, please see today’s Chat Thread with a list of all the things happening on the forum healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

If you haven’t already then please read the Welcome post here healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... please read it carefully and just ask if you have any

questions.

I notice that you have left your post unlocked. We always advise that you select “only my community” when you write a post. Please read our security post here healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Best wishes in your weight loss journey

Indigo 😊

I am trying the low carb high fat eating now as I am always hungry. If you exercise you need plenty of protein to help you stay full.
