Have recently seen a Facebook feed where this particular group want to encourage people to start walking. This got me thinking and would very much like to ask if anyone could point me in the right direction and let me know of any great sociable walking buddy groups.
I have just read a post from a newbie who loves walking, finds it lonely and wants to equally find a walking buddy like I do as well. I could empathise with that as I want to go on walks but not on my own for that same reason.
I would be happy to buddy up with someone who takes their dog out for example as I always find that dog walkers are always so friendly and approachable.
Any tips and advice you can share will be warmly welcomed.
Many thanks,
Chataholic

you could try finding out from your local council whether they have ‘health walks’. They are group walks focussed on keeping people fit. Hope this helps
