Project 30 :)

I posted a few months ago to say I was going to start being healthier and with the best of intentions, it wasn't the right time (mid-holiday ;) However I'm one day away from my 29th birthday and that makes it just over a year till the big 3-0. So now it is the right time, once the birthday celebrations are out of the way, to begin making the rest of my life as healthy and happy as it can be. I'm done with being grumpy because I'm overweight and ready to start turning things around :)

  • Hi and welcomeslimming_lady_22 :)

Take a look at the Pinned Posts section, to the right of your screen (bottom, if you're using a mobile) and have a look at the Welcome Newbies thread, it has a link to the NHS 12 week plan, which is a guide to healthy living, rather that a specific diet plan.

Consider joining any, or all, of our challenges, as they're fun and motivating.

Join us for the monday group weigh-in, if you follow Zest , you'll get a notification when she posts the thread, but the latest thread can always be found in the events section, to the right of the home page.

Be active on the forum, as that's where we exchange ideas and get our daily dose of motivation and inspiration :)

Wishing you all the very best :)

  • Hi! I've been here for a short while and it's already helping. I wish you all the best, you're bound to succeed! Look forward to seeing you around! :-)

  • I went on an all-inclusive cruise 4 years ago, and chose not to have any sweet desserts. I had recognised by then that 'you can have a bit...' is propaganda from the food industry. More than an ounce of fructose per day is not good for health.

I still enjoy the healthy stuff I eat though; yum, cheese, drool, double cream...
