Had my 3 month blood work done for Dimethyl Fumurate (generic Tecfidera)

And Neuro says: Stable lymphocytes :)3 months ago, my numbers were on the low side so she said I have to get bloodwork done every 3 months instead of 6 months because my numbers were always going up and down. Today was bloodwork day and my numbers were good :) Don't have to take a break from my meds for them to come back up.

I was so happy because I was getting worried I was going to have to take a break so my numbers could have time to come up. The though of not being on a dmt scares me.

Thanks everyone! I was kind of fretting this blood draw because my Neuro said if my numbers went down that I would most likely have to take a break from the meds until my numbers went back up, which really scares me. My numbers like to flip flop everytime I get the bloodwork done. Hopefully they stay going up when I see her for my 6 month follow up in June :)

thats great! I used to love tecfidera (had to get off because of steadily decreasing blood counts). I hope it continues to work for you!

Sorry you to get off the tecfidera. It has been working so good for me and I'm so afraid I will have to go off of it one day. My numbers do stay on the low side and then pop back up some and then will go back. Frustrating.

Thank you! Wish I knew what makes the numbers fluctuate so I could try to fix it but alas I have no clue what.
