Well it happened after 3 years. I tested positive today for covid

I feel terrible. Coughing. Sneezing and overall aches and pains, chills but no temp. Those i can deal with but the coughing. Its awful. I am vaccinated but no booster.

Any ideas as to if you had it. How'd you get through it. I have an inhaler i can use and nyquil to help me sleep. But otherwise i am quarantined for 5 days. Any experience you had i would appreciate it, if you care to share. I am 51 and RR on ocrevus. Next infusion is june

Thank you all.

Jenny

So sorry to hear! No advice, but I will lift up a prayer for you 🙏🏼 Hope you will be able to breathe better without coughing, take care of yourself and test negative soon.

If you haven't already, ASK about one of the monoclonal antibody treatments asap!

When I had covid last April it was miserable. I started to feel better within a day of receiving the treatment (IV). Actually it was more like I stopped getting worse, it still took a few weeks to recover.

I don't know if my husband would still be with us if he hadn't got the monoclonal antibodies (injections). He was on the verge of being admitted, oxygen was down to 85 at times and diagnosed with covid pneumonia.

This would be my suggestion as well. I am 53 and on Ocrevus. I was quite sick with Covid in December. I got the monoclonal antibodies day 3 since I was tested on a Friday had to wait until Monday since I wasn't hospitalized. It didn't make me feel any better but may have kept me from getting bad enough to go to the hospital.

I would strongly suggest you invest in a pulse oximeter if you don't already have one to keep an eye on your oxygen levels, it can drop quickly. Please keep us informed how you are doing

I was on Ocrevus also, but it was a mild cold for us. I used DayQuil and NyQuil, and I think I took a nap one afternoon. I didn't have a fever either. Pizza delivery was a big help.

What a lovely view from that doorway! If that's what you can see, surely that brings so much joy. As for the virus, I hope those vaccinations keep you out of hospital and intensive care. When you recover, since you are on Ocrevus, get a booster at the time suggested by your health team.

It is clear that this virus has the power to mutate and return again, and again...hence the new recommendation to get a second booster! In the meantime, I hope you shake this off and feel better very soon. I'm holding you in my heart.

Such a bummer! I’m sorry! I hope you’re feeling better each day. I had Covid about a year ago, but I was almost asymptomatic. My only advice is to stay hydrated and use your inhaler and a humidifier for coughing. Go to the hospital if you’re short of breath. Hope you’re better soon ❤️

My husband and I both had it the end of last October. I'd had my booster but my husband had not yet. His was similar to what you're describing and mine was lesser than that. I felt better sooner than he did as well. We treated ours like a bad cold since the symptoms were similar. Lots of rest.

Hope you feel better soon!

Thank you everyone for your advice and suggestions. Husband went back to work and my quarantine is over tomorrow. I am feeling much better, not 100% but I'll take 75%. Today my goal is to drink lots of water, rest and relax. I appreciate you all. Thanks also for commenting on my front yard.
