Hi All,
In the US, March is MS Awareness month. I plan to spend this month in prayer, over myself - yes, and for all who are affected by MS. If you don't believe in a higher power, please be respectful and move on from these posts. But if you would like to, please read and join in with me in lifting up these things. My goal is to post once a day for this month.
blessings,
Laurie

Dear God,
Thank you for this new day, another day to live and breathe and move. I am alive. Help me to be grateful. Today I thank you that I can go to the lab and get my blood drawn. It's not fun and I hate needles, but I have to be grateful. I thank you again for the medical advances these days and that people now know that disease isn't something that can be cured by draining out people's blood. Thank you that that old practice was disproven in its effectiveness! Thank you for the lab workers and how they can help to draw out only what is needed and that they have the skills to be able to test my blood and check my vitamin D levels and whatnot. I pray that they would work with skilled hands and continue to help folks like me who need their help to understand my own body better. Please be near to all of us with MS and other ailments who need to have lab work done. Especially for those who have a difficult time finding their veins, please bring peace and calm when the struggle can feel overwhelming.
Above all, I thank you Jesus that you gave your life for me. Thank you that through your shed blood, by your wounds, I am forgiven and freed. What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Thank you for the pain you endured and the price you paid so that we can have eternal life with you. May I never stop saying thank you.
In your name I pray, amen
