Hi All,
In the US, March is MS Awareness month. I plan to spend this month in prayer, over myself - yes, and for all who are affected by MS. If you don't believe in a higher power, please be respectful and move on from these posts. But if you would like to, please read and join in with me in lifting up these things. My goal is to post once a day for this month.
blessings,
Laurie

Dear Lord,
Thank you for another day to live. Thank you for inviting us to come to you with our cares. Today, I pray for all of us with MS who have had eye and vision problems. For me personally, I thank you that it's not something I have ever dealt with. And in your mercy, I ask that you would protect my eyes and that it would remain that way. But I know that for so many, optic neuritis is one of the first symptoms they experienced. For many, it was a defining moment that led to their MS diagnosis. So I pray and ask for healing over our eyes. I pray for Sandie, Kenu, Brindisi1, Kycmary, and so many others who have had eye and vision problems. Please Lord, bring relief and comfort. I pray for pain to go away in the name of Jesus. I ask that they would be able to see once again as they did before. I believe that you can bring this healing, with just one word, just one touch. Please heal their eyes.
More importantly, help us all Lord to "see" the things that really matter in our lives. Let us not be blinded by the things that tempt us that we know are of no use. Help us to focus and pay attention to and hold onto what is good. Help me to see you at work around me and to be grateful. When I am tempted to only see the bad things I want to complain about, please remind me to look at all of the good and to be thankful, even when I don't feel like being thankful. Please be my vision, O Lord of my heart.
In Jesus' name, amen
