Hi All,
In the US, March is MS Awareness month. I plan to spend this month in prayer, over myself - yes, and for all who are affected by MS. If you don't believe in a higher power, please be respectful and move on from these posts. But if you would like to, please read and join in with me in lifting up these things. My goal is to post once a day for this month.
blessings,
Laurie

Dear God,
Thank you for reminding me last night that there are so many people in the world who are suffering. Thank you for humbling me and prompting me to pray more for others and not just myself. Thank you for Jimeka reminding me that there are others who also suffer from MS who are in the Ukraine and no longer have access to their medicines and are having trouble getting the care they need. Oh Lord, in your mercy, please let them have kind neighbors who can help them. Thank you for the few glimpses of light in the darkness, for neighboring countries and people there who are welcoming in the Ukrainian refugees. Somehow, bring your peace in this dark time. As much as evil is being exposed, would you help to expose the good in people, as well.
Too, I pray for those in other countries who don't have access to what I am privileged to have access to. I pray that you would send people to help. Thank you for groups like Wheels for the World and others that bring wheelchairs and those optometrists who volunteer to fit people for donated prescription glasses and such. Oh Lord, please let me not take it for granted when I need to have an MRI and instead of grumbling help me to have a thankful heart for this technology that exists that I have access to.
I pray for those who are having MRIs done for the first time or the 20th time. I pray for myself and everyone who has lesions, for the lesions to shrink down in size and to go away in the name of Jesus. May scans be clear. May lesions remaining be not active or flared. Please help those who are fearful to close their eyes and think of good things while they wait for it to be done with. May their thoughts rise above the tapping and beeping noises and I pray that you would help them to breathe and be calm.
In Jesus' mighty name, amen
