I'd just sat on my shower chair, letting cold water spray over me for 20 minutes . . . Put some shampoo in my hair, but I don't want to hurry up, it feels too good to sit in the cold shower . . . I climb out and dry off, except my hair. Maybe my wet hair will help cool me as I clean house in preparation for A/C repair people . . .
But my chin's dripping! Not from wet hair.
From sweat!!!!
Around 9 pm I step outside to cool off . . .
And it is 91 dgrees F!

Mr. Johnathon T. Fuzzibutt isntaking it the hardest. He has always loved heat and normally looked for the hottest part of the house, which was usually upstairs. But for the past 3 weeks he's become a downstairs rug, stretched out on the carpet (the tile isn't cushy enough for his liking). Like me, he is guzzling water and not much interested in food. Nor is he interested in Crazy Cat Time where he'd fly all over the house. One thing he IS loving: open windows! Now, Prince Hopper Bopper struts around his kingdom, bragging about how nice his digs are! His kingdom is an insulated north-facing garage, so it stays much cooler. His primary concern is keeping the old fart (Johnathon) OUT of his comfortable domain!
