My husband rarely requests any particular foods. Last week he requested of all things my NY Cheesecake with blueberry topping. This is a man that doesn't like cream cheese or sour cream, it has both & he isn't fond of graham crackers. Then we got hit with the snowstorm & a frozen water well so I was in no mood to make that cheesecake. Our well thawed out yesterday & I was able to take a shower after 6 days. Dipping your wash rag into a sink of luke warm water is no match to a running water shower. I won't even talk about the ordeal of washing my hair. So life is now back to normal so I made him that cheesecake today. Its 10"x 2 1/2" & weighs a ton! I hope it tastes as good as it looks & smells.

Thanks. The shower was absolutely wonderful! I was finally able to taste the cake today. I had to go have blood work done this morning & I had to fast. 6 viles of blood! Hopefully they find out why my thyroid has tanked.

I read the calories, etc on the recipe label and it has 5.8 grams of protein per slice. It also has 580 calories per slice. But if you just eat a slice of cheesecake you have your protein & your meal calories right there. You don't have to eat anything else!😜

I made chocolate chip cheesecake just a couple weeks ago for my daughter's birthday. I used to make them a lot but I'm actually getting a bit sick of them! I will have to try your blueberry one. Looks delish!
