This pic was my last day in the hospital for a severe MS relapse I had last week and I was going home. I was there 6 days-5 of which I received IV steroid drip.
I’m having a hard time now with physical weakness physically and mentally too at times. It feels much different this time from my past severe ones. I used to bounce back a little quicker after steroids.
But Good News-I’ve become a bit stronger everyday and I can walk slowly now with my cane or walker, and I’m mostly using my scooter at home.
Hospital lined up a Home Care Plan for me with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy all at home. A trio plan which I never had before just PT a few times from severe ones, in which I was able to drive to sessions, but I’m not strong enough to even think about driving for a while.
I’m SO grateful to receive this care. Home Nurse came Monday this week and checked my vitals, OT came yesterday and ST hoping tomorrow. PT starts next week-they’re booked this week.
Keep Fighting MSers! There’s always HOPE!

Sorry you have been through the mill again, but pleased that you are now home and feeling stronger. It sounds as though they are really taking care of you, so enjoy all the treatments given. Big 🤗, blessings Jimeka 🙏
Good for you. I'm sure you'll feel much better at home. ( No Hospital food. Yuk.). It sounds like they have a good treatment plan laid out for you.Good luck with everything.
That's great Nikki I went thru a seaver relapse myself back in 2014 spent 4 days in hospital then 2 months in nursing learning how to talk, walk & use my hands again as they warred with each other. Climbing out of a relapse is hard but well worth the aggravation & frustration to get my body back under my control! I'm praying for you!
looking great fight is still on and your doing great ....slay the dragon ...keep on keeping on....love and happiness is in the future ...lets watch all of the spring pretties pop up and listen to the birds singing ....
