my neurologist just texted me and told me,the ideal time to get the covid vaccine is 4 months after treatment, but you may take it 2 to4 weeks after treatment since there is limited supplys.take it as soon as you have access to it and if you are going to get it before treatment, perferably 2 to 4 weeks before,

Ty for sharing!
Listened to webinar MSNews and Views w. Dr Thrower last night. He said vaccine 2 was before or within 2 weeks after. My Neuro said 3 months after to 2 weeks before. I am confused...🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
I heard the same thing from my neurologist - two months before my infusion.
my neuro. said at least 6 weeks befor or at least 6 weeks after??? What is a person to do???
mine used to say that too, i guess it has become the wild west! the message i got is if you can get it now with the virus go for it
Was just told last week at my Ocrevus infusion appt that I just need to wait 2 weeks. I am scheduled Feb 5
I just asked mine this question in our 4 month follow up. He told me three months after infusion. My next infusion isn’t till March.

you betcha
Wow! This doesn’t surprise me a bit. My neurologist told me 3 months. So we’ve been told anywhere between 2 weeks and 4 months. Well I’m super excited about getting this vaccine! Does anybody have THE one correct answer
just got contacted by my neuro after some blood test. my next Ocrevus should be scheduled for first half of March and he'd like for me to get the vaccine ASAP, if I can get it. He said this would be perfect timing because your immune system has bounced back but not your CD19 cells yet.
