So my referral was supposed to be put in a while ago. I called the university just to check and they said they had not received anything for me. Then last week one nurse at the office said she sent another referral. Then I get a call saying it was not sent and that this new nurse sent another. I called the university and they say nothing has come in. By this point I am very irritated.
I called the university and get a fax number for them again. Again nothing as of today. So I give them another fax number. I am calling right now to see if they have received anything.
I am not sure what the deal is but this is crazy...
**Update**
Everything is fixed now. Had to get a little pushy but I will be seeing the neurologist tomorrow.

I'm sorry for all the confusion and that you have to be the one to deal with it. It seems as though so many of us have to jump through so many hoops now. I don't remember us having to stay on top of things ourselves quite this much.
Got it all figured out. Not sure where the MA was sending all those referral though. I will see a neurologist tomorrow. I thought it would be months to wait.
sometimes we do have to be a little more pushy than normally ...new employees don't help for they aren't use to what we do have to go thru all the time and patience can get really low for having to put up with bs and of course starting of the new year doesn't help either for some don' t get it set up before the new year starts....so glad all has worked out for you ...
I hate getting the run around. And January is here so it's here again to go through the coverage for my DMT. At least it won't surprise me like it did the first time years ago. Between doctors, insurance and medicine it's enough to drive you crazy! It's bad enough to have a nasty disease AND dump the other on top of it!
