January Appointments?

Aren't we all grateful that 2020 is nearly over? I sure hope there is a clear delineation between this year and next year!

Do you have appointments you'd like to share? Many will be video visits, but they count. I have one with the neurologist, but am not sure if it will be changed to a video call. It's just a routine 6-month check.

I had a six month follow up in December, a December MRI with no new activity, and fifth O infusion on January 11. Isolating so I don’t get sick before then.

Haven’t heard of any in Jan so far.

Yes lord Jesus make 2021 a better year. I don’t know if I can make it through another like 2020. 😘😘😘

2021 is already looking better. Dr visit with my neurologist Monday and he agreed with me to start Ocrevus. His nurse sent the paperwork into the appropriate people while I was standing there. Doesn’t that sound good while I was STANDING there.😁😁.

I’m probably going to be released from pt today. Pt assessor will be here in a few minutes.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all.

God bless

Donnie

I have a neuro visit, then Ocrevus within a month. Val has a 1yr well baby, a follow up with the orthopedic surgeon, and her first dentist appointment.

I've forgotten how many well baby visits we make with little ones, besides our own. I hope they all go well.

No January appointments. Neuro appt in mid-Dec. Just did c&t spine MRI & brain MRI this week. Meds are acquired before new deductible starts tomorrow. New year, new pharmacy benefits manager for insurance means tons of stuff to do for specialty med. According to mailings received this week, specialty meds will now cost 30% copay (supposed to be 3000 deductible then fully covered according to open enrollment paperwork in Nov.) Making us work with another program to guarantee $0 copay on specialty meds if manufacturer copay card reaches max limit. No documents received for plan yet, so waiting to see what all has changed and why we weren't told in advance. Yay insurance changes.........

Most of us can relate to the insurance nightmare with specialty meds, in particular. I hope things get sorted out to your advantage.

I have 2 appointments this month. My MS neurologist later this month and tomorrow at a place to talk about massage therapy and craniosacral therapy. A few weeks ago someone was talking about the craniosacral therapy and I want to try it. They said they are going to check with my insurance company to see if it's covered. It should, but crossing my fingers. This would be great. Especially massage as my body hurts a lot.

Please let us know how all your appointments go and about how the therapies affect you. I hope all goes well.

I am looking forward to this appointment later today. If it works out I think it will help alot.

Well it didn't work out for me with the appointment for the craniosacral therapy. They are out of network and that would mean a 750. Deductible. And I can't spend that much this year on that. So this week I'll check with BC to try to find in network. Real bummer. 😣

I’m sorry it didn’t work out, but hope it may later this year.
